Pastor Kathy Gray, co-founder of World Revival Church in Kansas City known formerly as the Smithton Outpouring, is calling women to a strategic gathering. Given the nation’s recent events such as the Newtown school shooting and the uncertainty of the economy, Gray feels burdened to see women released into a new realm of prophetic intercession at the Arise Women’s Conference on January 24-27.

“I’m reminded of the vision I had years ago in Smithton, Missouri,” Gray says. “Imagine with me a line of women, strong, bold and confident in their God, able to point their finger at the enemy and see him crushed, annihilated and defeated.”  The Smithton Outpouring, also known as the ‘Cornfield Revival,’ attracted a quarter of a million people to a town of 532 people. Gray and her husband, Steve, moved the outpouring, to Kansas City in 2000 to accomodate the crowds.

Gray feels strongly that this is event is to be a strategic gathering of God that will release women into a new realm of prophetic intercession.  She has sensed the urgency of the hour at hand, and is calling for women to arise with a war cry in their hearts.  Problems are surfacing in our society that only a move of God can solve, and at the conference, women will be empowered to become the prophetic intercessor that can change the course of this nation.

Guests are arriving next week from as far away as Finland, Poland, Holland and Canada. “Mothers, daughters, wives… many are sensing the urgency of the hour and the desperate need in our society for divine intervention,” Gray says. “God has put out a call and women are responding to enter a place of prophetic, preemptive intercession.”

Gray has for years felt the need for Spirit-filled women to arise in the anointing of the Holy Spirit to defeat the powers of darkness. At this conference, attendees will be equipped to step into their destinies and arise as bold women of God. “You will receive the heart and prophetic anointing of each of these women, and walk away from this conference with a new perspective of women’s roles in the Church and the world,” says Gray.

Speakers include Pastor Barb Rudoski from Saskatchewan, Canada; Anne-Mari Manninen from Finland; Pastor Tricia Reyes of Zion, Illinois; Ann Marie Terpstra of Holland; plus women of Gray’s leadership team. “The spiritual confrontation rising up against our families, societies and nations must be met with a stronger power flowing through God’s women warriors,” Gray says. “Arise 2013 offers the chance for you to become a watchman on the wall that knows how to pray the will of God and speak it forth into the heavenly realms.”

Day sessions include teachings and exhortations on the heart of an intercessor, the powerful combination of prayer and fasting, how to increase your anointing, and how to break the powers that limit your capability as a woman of God.

Saturday afternoon features a prophetic activation session. For many women, this will be the moment of initiation into a new depth of prophetic insight and discernment. Arise conference attendees will attend evening services with Pastor Steve and Kathy Gray.

Worship will be led by Integrity Hosanna songwriter Dustin Smith, incorporating women worship leaders from around the world for a powerful evening of worship, preaching and ministry. A special impartation service planned for Saturday night gives women the chance to receive special prayer to become a prophetic intercessor.

“If your heart has grasped the urgency of the hour, Arise 2013 is for you,” says Gray. “Respond and join the army of women God is raising to declare His Word and establish His ways in the earth. Come, and let the spirit of intercession be released within you!” Click here for more information about the Arise Women’s Conference.
