Naysayers trolled comedy TV mom Patricia Heaton after she posted a political opinion contrary to Hollywood standards.
“Choose, celebrate, support Life! Thanks Northwest Center!” the star of ABC’s The Middle tweeted last week with a link to a crisis pregnancy center.
Fans retaliated with bitter attacks against one another and the former Everybody Loves Raymond actress.
One fan tweeted, “@PatriciaHeaton life is beautiful especially when everyone else mind their business and stays out of the woman’s uterus! Mind your business!”
Another replied: “@PatriciaHeaton Thank you for sharing this, knowing it is not the PC opinion. LIfe is from conception, and is never a mistake.”
Others insinuated threats: “@PatriciaHeaton I’m all for post birth abortions for actors meddling in others lives that are none of their business. give yourself one.”
But still, support resounded.
“@PatriciaHeaton Good for you! Who knew ppl could come so unglued over a tweet about choosing and celebrating life? Keep up the good work!” one fan posted.
Another: “@PatriciaHeaton Glad to see you stand up for the unborn children, the little ones that can not speak. Thank you Ms. Heaton”
