Ten-time Grammy award winner CeCe Winans will perform at the funeral for Dr. Myles Munroe and his wife, Pastor Ruth Munroe in his native Bahamas on Thursday, Dec. 4, The Bahamas Weekly reports.

Munroe and his wife, Ruth, and Bahamas Faith Ministries deputy, Richard Pinder, along with another pastor and his family were victims of a fatal plane crash in early November.

The public funeral will be held at the Bahamas Faith Ministries Diplomat Center. A private service for the family and senior government officials will be held Wednesday, the day before, and a National Memorial will follow that evening.

The National Memorial is expected to attract a wide cross-section of Bahamians including visitors to the country and will feature a number of tributes and special music performances. Jewish people from around the world are mourning the loss of Munroe, and Christian leaders are still shocked and saddened by his death.

A National Memorial will be held in honor of Dr. Munroe and his wife on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the Thomas A. Robinson Stadium Oaks Field Sporting Complex in Nassau, Bahamas. The event will start at 6 p.m. with doors open for seating at 5 p.m. The event is open to the public, and there is no admission fee or invitations needed to attend. There will, however, be reserved seating for the family, senior government officials, Bahamas Faith Ministries members, as well as local and international dignitaries.

Priscilla “CeCe” Marie Winans Love is an American gospel singer who has won numerous awards, including 10 Grammys and seven Stellar Awards. She has sold 12 million records worldwide. Winans is the best-selling female gospel artist of all time.

On Nov. 10, the Winans brothers, BeBe, Carvin and Marvin, sang “I Really Miss You” in honor of Dr. Munroe and family on the “Kathie Lee and Hoda” hour of NBC-TV’s Today program.

CeCe Winans began her solo career with a splash in 1995 when her first album, Alone in His Presence, went platinum and garnered the artist a Grammy Award and two Doves. She resides in Forest Hills, Tennessee, (a suburb of Nashville) with her husband, Alvin Love, and two children, Ashley and Alvin III. The couple pastors Nashville Life in Nashville, where CeCe and Alvin Love serve as the lead servants, and the children are involved in the ministry.

In addition, Winans was a good friend of Whitney Houston and godmother to her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown. She performed “Don’t Cry for Me” and “Jesus Loves Me” at Houston’s funeral in Newark, New Jersey on Feb. 18, 2012.

The bodies of Dr. Myles Munroe and Pastor Ruth Ann Munroe will lie in repose at Bahamas Faith Ministries Diplomat Center on Wednesday, Dec. 3, from noon to 5 p.m. A private ceremony will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:00 with members of the family and senior government officials. Members of the public are invited to pay their respects from noon to 5 p.m. and are welcomed to sign the book of condolence. There will be no public viewing.

A veteran Bahamian pastor, David Burrows, with a reputation for revolutionizing youth ministry has been selected by board members to replace the late Dr. Myles Munroe as senior pastor of Bahamas Faith Ministries and chairman of its Board of Governors.
