A Messianic Jewish organization in Israel is releasing covers of worship songs sung in Hebrew, Arabic and English in order to show that “true peace in the Middle East can only happen through the Prince of Peace.”

“As I’m sure you’ve noticed, the worship song was in Hebrew, Arabic and English,” One for Israel President Erez Soref says at the end of one song. “That is because we at One for Israel believe that true peace in the Middle East can only happen through the Prince of Peace, Yesha the Messiah.”

“May we please ask you to take a few seconds right now and pray for Jews and Arabs to come to know Yeshua—the only way to peace,” Soref concludes.

The version of “Waymaker”—featuring local Israeli worship leaders and performers Rebekah Wagner, Joshua Aaron, Nizar Francis and Shilo Ben Hod—is one of many One for Israel videos featuring songs sung by native Hebrew, Arabic and English speakers together. This video, uploaded five months ago, has reached nearly 2 million views by the date of this article.

One for Israel also released a Christmas song, “Mary did you know?” in Hebrew, Arabic an English earlier this month. It has already garnered 589,000 views.

The organization says on its YouTube channel: “We produced a series of music videos to celebrate the birth of our Messiah, Yeshua. No matter when you celebrate, our passion is to point people to the narrative of salvation and find unity in worshiping our King Messiah.”

At the end of the song, which features a reenactment in Nazareth of Mary and Joseph preparing for their journey to Bethlehem, Soref prays that viewers “will set your eyes to heaven to behold the Messiah’s beauty and majesty.”

“God’s redemption is near. Please pray with us that God’s light will shine in Israel as the Gospel returns to our people once again,” Soref says.

One for Israel, established in 1990 as a Bible college, is an evangelistic outreach in the Holy Land focusing on bringing Jews and Arabs in the land to salvation. It is comprised of native-born Israelis.

Another portion of the ministry is restoration of Israel and the unity between Jewish and Arab believers in Jesus.

“We are seeing not only the physical restoration of Israel after a 2,000-year exile, but a spiritual revolution is taking place right in front of our eyes,” the One for Israel website says. “Jewish people are returning to their God and accepting the Messiah in numbers not seen since the early church! Not only that, but many Arab people are coming to the Lord and many Arab believers are finding a deep unity with their Jewish brothers and sisters.” {eoa}
