More than a quarter of the victims on AirAsia flight 8501 were members of the same pentecostal church in Indonesia, the AP reports

Mawar Sharon Church, in Surabaya, Indonesia, hosted a prayer service earlier this week as to comfort relatives and remember those who were lost in the crash.

The Rev. Philip Mantofa offered faith as comfort to one man: "If God has called your child, allow me to say this: Your child is not to be pitied," CBS reports the man saying. "Your child is already in God's arms. One day, your family will be reunited in heaven."

Due to severe weather, retrieval of the bodies has been postponed.

Charisma News is seeking more information from Pentecostal leaders in Indonesia. The story will be updated as more information is obtained.
