WATCH: ‘Abiding Presence, Abiding Glory’ Still Stirs on Bonnie Brae Street

William J. Seymour and seven men were waiting on God on Bonnie Brae Street, “when suddenly, as though hit by a bolt of lightning, they were knocked from their chairs to the floor,” and the other men began to speak in tongues and shout out loud in praise. This historical event that took place on April 9, 1906, sparked the Azusa Street Revival. This Los Angeles revival continued through 1915 and is considered a catalyst for the spread of Pentecostalism in the 20th century.

Today, firebrand revivalist, Pastor Caleb Cooper of New Hope Revival Church, joins Charisma Media’s Jeff Struss at the Bonnie Brae House 115 years later to issue a prayer of impartation.
