WATCH: Trump Lifts Santa Fe Victims Up to the Lord
President Donald Trump lifted the Santa Fe High School students up to the Lord in his address after the shooting.
"May God heal the injured and may God comfort the wounded," the president said.
At least eight students were shot dead when the suspect opened fire at Santa Fe High School early Friday morning. Police also found multiple explosive devices in and around the school.
He also addressed keeping guns out of the hands of those who may abuse the weapon.
Both he and Vice President tweeted religious sentiments following the "horrific attack."
