Pastor Greg Locke Seeking Revival’s Glory at Asbury

As word of revival happening at Asbury College takes the Christian world by storm, believers from across the nation are flocking to Wilmore, Kentucky, to bask in the glory of God.

Pastor Greg Locke of Global Vision Bible Church in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is joining the throngs of Christians making their way to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Asbury University’s Hughes Memorial Auditorium.

“I really think there’s been a pocket of people that have prayed and fasted and longed for the Lord to really just do it again [revival],” Locke shared in a Charisma News exclusive interview.

After watching a video of what was taking place at Asbury, Pastor Locke was amazed at what he was witnessing.

“Kids aren’t leaving, people are coming and going, left and right,” he continued. “There were hundreds of people just singing praises to the Lord. Nobody was leading it, no preacher, there’s no professors, there’s…no professional evangelist. It’s just an organic move of the Lord.”

Testimonies from students at Asbury and all across the state of Kentucky are pouring out as they are shedding tears of repentance and renewal on the carpet of the auditorium.

Wanting to take part in what the Lord is doing, Pastor Locke is heading up north to see just how great the glory of God is at Asbury, and let the Holy Spirit have His way in his own heart.

“We’re going to go up there…and just kind of sit. I just want to sit in the glory. I want to go places where pockets of revival are breaking out because it’s not just happening at Global Vision Bible Church…it’s happening around the world and I want to be part of it. I want to see how God works in different contexts,” Locke explained.

Many Christian leaders including Jim Garlow and Dr. Michael Brown are speaking about the selflessness and genuine repentance taking place at Asbury, and the possibility—Hope!—that this could be the beginning of the Third Great Awakening.

One thing is for certain, the Spirit of the Lord is moving powerfully. After suffering through pandemic and lockdowns and economic turbulence and Russian atrocities, hearts in America are primed for the fire of the Holy Spirit to fill them to overflowing and be radically transformed in ways the likes of which the world has not seen in decades. {eoa}
