Former Gubernatorial Candidate and Outspoken Christian Was 'Swatted' Due to False 911 Call

Former Georgia governor candidate Kandiss Taylor—a born-again Christian who hasn't been afraid to speak the truth about election integrity and "demonic left-wing extremists"—was shocked to discover that police officers from state, county and city law enforcement were pointing their weapons at her house just after midnight on Monday night, creating the risk of her being shot as soon as she opened the front door.

The police showed up at Taylor's house on high alert with their weapons drawn because of a fake 911 call—a hoax that could have turned deadly. Police officers responded to her residence in Baxley, Georgia, after someone called 911 falsely claiming that a person had been murdered at Taylor's residence. The caller gave Taylor's address, even though no crime had occurred.

"They came with all their weapons—rifles pointed at my house ready to shoot if they needed to kill me if I opened the door," Taylor says. "My children were woken up from their bed. Trauma doesn't even begin to explain what happened at my house."

Swatting is not simply a prank; the evil motive is meant to generate fear, intimidate and do harm.

Swatting is the act of making a hoax call to 911 to elicit a response from the police, usually a SWAT team, to wreak havoc and potentially storm a home with guns blazing because of deliberate misinformation.

Taylor says, "They got a call, a female voice to text, saying they had shot their husband five times and were going to shoot themselves. ... I don't care what political party you are—this is evil. This is not OK. And I will find out who swatted my house. And I will do everything in my power to bring them to justice."

This incident in Georgia with an outspoken Christian is the latest example of a disturbing trend on the rise. Christian conservatives are being targeted and "swatted" across America. Big Tech is enabling it.

Apps such as the TextNow app make it appear that the emergency call comes from the phone of the "victim." The technology turns the voice call into a text message, which makes it more difficult to assess, verify and track in the moment. It has now been weaponized, particularly against Christians.

In a written statement in the aftermath of the incident, Taylor identified "Christian Americans who have also been recently targeted using the TextNow App: Stew Peters, Nicholas J. Fuentes, Ethan Ralph, Tim Pool, Bryson Gray, Dalton Clodfelter, just to name a handful."

Taylor's written statement about the "swatting" hoax stated, "Last night, I, like dozens of other conservative leaders, was SWATTED by law enforcement after they received a false report from the 'TextNow' App. 'TextNow' is being weaponized by extremists to target and harass American Christians and their families."

She sees the act of a 911 hoax as an act of domestic terrorism and a hate crime against people who hold Christian views and espouse faith in Christ, but she says she is ready to take decisive action in response.

"We will not [waver] or be afraid. Instead, I am calling for an investigation into Text Now, who is aiding and abetting Demonic Left-Wing Extremists who are committing acts of terrorism against Christian Americans," says Taylor.

She reiterated her call to action against this weaponization. "Since TextNow's Owner, Derek Ting, and the 'TextNow' App refuses to cooperate with law enforcement on this matter, I am calling for an investigation into Derek Ting and 'TextNow.' I am also calling for a corporate shutdown of the app company until they can identify and prosecute the extremist terrorists that they are currently harboring," her statement indicated.

Nonetheless, this former Georgia governor candidate, who has had the support of MyPillow founder Mike Lindell, pointed to the Bible as the source of her strength in the face of this evil.

"The method of swatting your ideological opponent is nothing new. Globally, evil and insane people will always try to intimidate our families and our mission. We will not be swayed or fearful, but instead, we will focus on God's Word, which clearly states:

"'"No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me," Says the LORD' (Isaiah 54:17).

"Christians across the world will face persecution, but that is only because baby killers, communists, sodomites, and cowards, that are in league with satan, hate the real living God that dwells in us: 'If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first' (John 15:18)."

Early Tuesday morning, Taylor released a video on Twitter (@KandissTaylor), giving an emotion-laden account of what happened. She ends the video with this message: "You better stand up for your rights [as Christians] because it could be you next."
