Admiral Says Severe Penalties Coming for Unvaccinated Military Members

Coast Guard JAG lawyers are being directed to instruct chaplains to debate, belittle and downplay religious beliefs of service members seeking religious exemptions. Chaplains are reporting they have never seen such abuse against military personnel.

Hoping to find answers and direction, one of our plaintiffs in the case of Navy SEAL 1 v. Biden attended a meeting with the admiral over all Coast Guard personnel. Instead, her religious beliefs were belittled. She learned that those who did not get the shots (or even those asking for a religious exemption) would be severely punished.

Our client was discouraged. She contacted Liberty Counsel, and now she is one of the 24 plaintiffs in our massive class action lawsuit on behalf of all military members, federal employees and civilian contractors.

Liberty Counsel filed our suit Friday against Joe Biden's departments of Defense and Homeland Security to stop these unlawful orders. Read on to learn more:

Severe Penalties

Alicia* entered the U.S. Coast Guard with an allergy waiver premised upon her previous allergic reactions to vaccines. Alicia has been routinely exempted, including from smallpox and flu vaccines.

Her medical waiver and lack of vaccinations never impacted the quality of her service or her promotions. Alicia was a respected and valued member of the Coast Guard.

That all changed when Joe Biden's shot mandates came down through the Department of Defense (DOD) on August 24.

The Coast Guard admiral in charge of all Coast Guard personnel announced her decision in no uncertain terms—all service members under her command will be "100% vaccinated. Period."

That means no exceptions whatsoever—not for Alicia's long-recognized medical exemption, and certainly not for religious reasons.

In a meeting designed to promulgate the Coast Guard's new COVID vaccination policy in response to the DOD's mandate, the admiral said even the pope had endorsed the shots, implying that both she and the Coast Guard would not grant any religious exemptions.

Frankly, it does not matter what this pope or any religious leader or ecclesial body thinks about the COVID shots. The only legal question is whether the person asking for an exemption has a sincere religious belief. Period!

The admiral said those who do not get the shots will be denied assignments and pay, discharged and stripped even of their 9/11 benefits. The admiral warned that "many more restrictive guidances for unvaccinated members would be forthcoming."

Our plaintiffs, representing every branch of the military, are being threatened with dishonorable discharge—no matter their rank or service history.

A dishonorable discharge is a stigma these service members will carry for the rest of their lives. Chaplains are telling us they fear the rate of suicide will increase because of the abuse and threats of dishonorable discharge.

And members of a special operations community report have been told they will be sent to prison in solitary confinement—a mind- and body-shattering experience.

Liberty Counsel's class action lawsuit lays out a clear-cut case to defeat Biden's shot mandate—and indeed, every shot mandate!

Our lawsuit could free every person from the shot mandates.

In addition to representing all branches of the military, our lawsuit also represents federal employers and civilian contractors.

We will fight for everyone, because these mandates are illegal and dangerous.

Pray for our country and our team fighting to preserve freedom.
