When Clay Clark responded to his clients inquiring how they could continue to operate amid the governments mandates for businesses to close due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he had no idea how God would use him. Clark, a highly successful business man who refrained from discussing politics or religion, immediately conducted research on behalf of his clients and quickly learned the truth behind the pandemic—which was exceedingly grim. Slowly realizing God was directing him to be a point man on the whole COVID-19 matter, Clark knew he had to plan an event where he could alert more people. He held the first of many sold-out events, called “Reopen America Health and Freedom Conference” in April 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Here, both religion and politics were highlighted in response to COVID-19. The response was so tremendous that Clark planned four more events starring Gen. Michael Flynn, whose vision meant changing the name to the ReAwaken America Health and Freedom Tour and emphasizing the essential importance of reaching the Christian community.
Neither of these men knew the trajectory God had in mind or the attraction the tour would become. Soon, well-known speakers were contacting Clark, requesting to take part. The second event was held in Tampa, Florida, in June 2021 at Rodney Howard-Browne’s The River at Tampa Bay church—a fitting venue considering Browne was arrested after continuing to hold church services during the nationwide shutdown for COVID-19. The estimated 10,000 attendees received highly researched information to arm them with truth that government and mainstream media had clearly suppressed. Clark and Flynn then planned four additional tour stops: Anaheim, California in July; Grand Rapids, Michigan, in August; Colorado Springs, Colorado, in September and San Antonio, Texas, in November.
The Anaheim and Grand Rapids events sold out, with Colorado Springs and San Antonio advance ticket sales trending toward early sellout. In response Clark has added a Dallas, Texas, tour stop for December.
Specific to the recent Grand Rapids event, hosted by Pastors Phillip and Bernadette Smith from Eternal Word Church, Clark said, “From the 2,700 who attended, we had around 500 people who were either baptized or gave their lives to Christ. That’s what this tour is all about. Proverbs 9:10 makes clear the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. We now have 500 more people who have a proper fear and reverence for the Lord who will make a difference in their respective communities. This is how we flip our nation—by getting committed Christians engaged in the culture.” Gen. Flynn consistently encourages people to get involved in the governmental process at the local levels where immediate influence can be seen.
Recently joining the tour are Charlie Kirk, founder and president of Turning Point USA, a national student movement dedicated to identifying, organizing and empowering young people to promote the principles of free markets and limited government; Seth Keshel, a highly respected Army intelligence captain who just released his report on National Fraud Numbers with respect to the 2020 presidential election; and Chad Prather, a well-known Christian comedian, musician and armchair philosopher.
