Prophet: Redding Fires Aren’t a Place for Prophecy, but for Decreeing and Declaring

Prophet Doug Addison says the fires raging across Redding, California, and beyond aren’t about prophecy, but about decreeing and declaring the Word of the Lord over the area.

Though some of the statistics have changed in the last few days, the power of prayer remains the same.

The fire has consumed nearly 90,000 acres and is less than 5 percent contained, according to Cal Fire. More than 3,000 fire fighters are battling the flames, which are rapidly approaching Yosemite National Park.

In a video posted Friday, Addison shares how the Lord laid Bethel Church on his heart.

“[They’ve] ministered to the world, and now it’s time for us to minister to them,” Addison says.
