Dr. Bill Hamon, known around the world as the pioneer and father of the prophetic movement, is celebrating 60 years of ministry and 80 years of living. This will take place at Christian International’s 27th annual International Gathering of Apostles and Prophets, Oct. 21-24, in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.

Hamon and his wife, Evelyn, are celebrating their 59th year of marriage, from which they have raised three children—all in the ministry with them—and have 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Hamon believes his first 30 years of ministry (1954-1984) were preparation for his second 30 years of ministry (1984-2014). During his first 30 years, he spent six as pastor, three as evangelist, five as bible college teacher and 16 as founder and president of Christian International School of Theology. During the last 30 years, he has been a prophet to the nations. Hamon has personally prophesied to 50,000 individuals, including presidents, kings and heads of nations, as well as thousands of saints. In the early 1980s, he prophesied a coming move of God that would restore prophets and apostles back into the church. The prophetic movement was later birthed at Christian International’s second International Prophets Conference on Oct. 15, 1988.

Hamon’s major revelation and teaching is on the restoration movements of the church and the coming moves of God. He wrote the only book in existence that covers all major restoration movements that have happened over the last 500 years, from the Protestant movement to the prophetic-apostolic movement—The Eternal Church. He knew that for a restoration movement to be properly established and maintain biblical balance and maturity, books had to be written to accomplish that. He later wrote Prophets and Personal Prophecy, Prophets and the Prophetic Movement, and Prophetic Pitfalls to Avoid and Principles to Practice. He also wrote a 300-page manual, Ministering Spiritual Gifts, for teaching and activating saints and ministers in prophetic ministry—hearing and ministering the voice of God to others. Since that time, more than 250,000 have been taught and activated on every continent of the earth.

Hamon founded Christian International Apostolic Network, which now has 3,800 ministers and churches in the U.S. and around the world. He was ordained a bishop in 1992, and all of his ministers and many friends call him Bishop Hamon. In 2008, God revealed to him that the third and final church reformation had been decreed from heaven to begin on earth. He wrote the book in 2010 that describes God’s purpose for the third reformation, Prophetic Scriptures Yet to Be Fulfilled. He then wrote 70 Reasons for Speaking in Tongues to show the power source for fulfilling God’s purpose.

Hamon is declaring that we are now living in the days of kingdom demonstration until every nation becomes a goat or sheep nation. These are the greatest days of the church. Reformation is bringing transformation and the final fulfillment of all things for the coming of Christ Jesus.
