The presidential campaign of U.S. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) continues to insist that it is going to shock the world with its ground game on Monday night in the first-in-the-nation Iowa Republican Caucus.

Wednesday, he announced the endorsements of two more Iowa pastors. They are David Roush, pastor of Victory Baptist Church in Spencer, and Adam Costilla, pastor of Storm Lake Independent Baptist Church.

Spencer is located in Clay County. Storm Lake is located in Buena Vista County. Both are located in the northwestern part of the Hawkeye State.

“I am a Christian pastor and a father of six, and I wish to send forth my approval for Rand Paul as my pick for the GOP nominee,” Roush said. “Rand Paul has an outstanding reputation for defending freedom, and reining in the out-of-control monster that is an unfettered government. Rand has an understanding of the powers that are enumerated to the government, and, perhaps more importantly, which ones are not. With these things in mind, I would encourage you to avoid the big government-loving, war-mongering, power-hungry, pocket-padding candidates and join me in supporting Rand Paul.”

“As a Christian and an American, I believe that the Constitution is what God has used and what he wants to continue to use in this nation to preserve the rights that he has given all men,” Costilla said. “There are not many people employed by our government who view the Constitution the same way. In fact, many will give our founding document lip service, but continue to defy it. To have a nation that will live in the frame the Founders formed, we must have a leader that will not only keep our Congress within the bounds of the Constitution, but also understand the bounds it has set for himself. That is why I plan to support Rand Paul.”
