Connecting the Dots on Marco Rubio's Immigration Policies

As if I-Squared could not get any worse, Republican presidential candidate Sen. Marco Rubio's (R-Fla.) immigration plan would expand the issuance of H-1B visas to foreign migrant workers. Under existing law, market-based H-1B visas are capped at 65,000. If Rubio and his financial backers have their way, the allotment would increase to 115,000 and allow for an additional increase of 195,000 migrants per year.

But hidden in the bill is a provision for a special H-1B category, which Dr. Norman Matloff, professor of computer science at the University of California at Davis, points out. He calculates that I-Squared would "in essence allow an unlimited number of H-1Bs [by removing the current cap of 20,000 per year] on a special H-1B category for foreign students earning STEM degrees at U.S. universities."

Keep in mind, so far I-Squared expands an unlimited visa allotment for:

  • F-1 foreign students mostly from Islamic controlled countries, in addition to,
  • Green cards applicants and their unlimited family members, mostly from Islamic controlled countries, and now,
  • H-1B workers mostly from Islamic controlled countries.

Worse still, I-Squared (Section 103(a)) makes the renewal process defunct by restricting the Department of Homeland Security from rejecting visa renewals. In essence, most, if not all, visa renewals would be rubber-stamped "approved."

Consider that in 2014 alone, the State Department admitted over 4,000 migrants from Islamic controlled countries on H-1B visas, in addition to 108,000 H-1B Indian nationals. Similar to the F-1 foreign student visa calculations, if the worker visa demographics match the country of origin's demographics, then in 2014, more than 15,000 H-1B visas were given to Islamist Indian nationals (14 percent of 108,000). Hypothetically, in 2014, the State Department could have issued roughly 19,000 H-1B visas to foreign workers from Islamic controlled countries.

Notably, I-Squared reclassifies non-American foreign national "aliens" and "alien spouses" as "non-immigrants" – and gives them work permits.

I-Squared authorizes the Department of Homeland Security to offer H-1B visa holders work permits for their "non-immigrant" spouses. Remarkably, Section 102 "Employment authorization for dependents of H-1B non-immigrants," states that "The Secretary of Homeland Security shall (i) authorize an alien spouse admitted under subparagraph (H)(i)(b) or (L) ... who is accompanying or following to join the principal alien to engage in employment in the United States; and (ii) provide the spouse with an 'employment authorized' endorsement or other appropriate work permit."

This is not merit-based immigration. It is a subversive attempt to replace American workers with Islamist H-1B visa foreign national non-immigrants and their spouses, who will receive green cards, and eventually access to citizenship and all the benefits that come with it, for life. (Keep in mind that the San Bernardino terrorist Tafsheen Malik came to the U.S. on a K-1 "fiancée" visa, and later helped kill 14 innocent unarmed citizens, wounding 17 others—because of her commitment to Islamic political ideology.)

Consider that more than fifty million Americans capable of working have been out of work beyond the allotted limit for receiving their earned unemployment benefits. Yet Rubio, the Gang of Eight, and Barack Obama are actively importing roughly 100,000 new "non-immigrant" guest workers to compete with unemployed American citizens and to most likely take their jobs.

If Rubio's home state is any indication of what's to come, Americans should be more than outraged over Rubio's big business backed "merit-based immigration plan."

In Florida, The Walt Disney Company laid off 250 American citizens—and replaced them with lower-salaried H-1B visa foreign Indian nationals.

Adding insult to injury, Disney forced their American citizen employees, before they were fired, to train the lower-skilled foreign workers.

It's no coincidence that the lobbying firm co-chaired by Disney Corporation CEO, Bob Iger, aggressively supported I-Squared.

Or that Bill Gates' Microsoft extensively lobbied for I-Squared. (Microsoft is the second largest contributor to Sen. Marco Rubio's campaign committee.)

Gates is also a founding member of Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg's immigration lobbying firm also promoting I-Squared.

Gates describes Rubio's immigration bill as "our gold standard for high tech reform."

But in reality, as the Washington Examiner exposed, while Microsoft lobbied to increase the H-1B guest worker program it also began laying off 18,000 employees.

One question remains: Why have Floridians kept a man in office who does not represent his own constituents and the U.S. Constitution, and is actively seeking to bring in Islamists who by their own admission hate America and support terrorism?
