FrontPage magazine editor David Horowitz was a guest Monday on The Jim Bakker Show to discuss his new book, and during that conversation, he said President Donald Trump—just by being a leader—has produced one miracle.
He was discussing the president's plan to build a wall on the U.S.'s southern border with Mexico, noting that "just by coming out as a leader" and saying he wanted to build one, illegal border crossings have dropped more than 70 percent. No one would have thought that were possible.
"If somebody said in August that you can cut illegal crossings by 70 percent within a month or two, we'd think they were crazy," he said. "It would be a miracle. [President Trump]'s produced a miracle just by being a leader."
Horowitz said the wall won't be like the Great Wall of China that so many in the liberal mainstream media have tried to make it out to be, noting that parts of Texas are so inaccessible, it's not feasible to build a full wall in those areas. He did note, however, the impact Israel's wall has had on national security.
"It's cut terrorist attacks inside Israel against citizens to practically zero from where there were thousands," he said. "It's mainly a fence. So, there are ways to build barriers, but you can't do it unless you're committed and dedicated to build that wall, or that fence, or that security barrier."
The conservative author also discussed what he calls the "global warming hoax" perpetrated by globalists, calling it a "dream for the left." The entire scam, he said, is tailor-made to allow them to institute government controls over nearly every aspect of our lives.
Horowitz also charged the Paris Climate Accords were a scam designed to make those very same globalists "look good without doing anything." All of the carbon emission standards included in the plan were entirely voluntary, and no country would be held accountable.
"They don't hold any countries to anything, so it's a non-accord," he said. "But, in order to get them to sign an accord which doesn't hold them to anything, the United States is supposed to give them $100 billion in bribes. That's the Paris accord. So, good for Trump."
He said the money would be better spent on solutions to a real apocalyptic scenario, the North Korean nuclear weapons program. He said the U.S. should continue to be developing its anti-ballistic missile system.
Bakker asked Horowitz where the Hermit Kingdom was getting all of its missiles for the frequent test launches it conducts. The author said he's sure China and Iran were helping.
"Remember the 'Axis of Evil'?" he asked. "[President George W.] Bush was right, there really is an Axis of Evil, only it's much bigger now because of the Democrats."
