Abortion 'Survivors' Group Protests This Elected Official

The pro-life group Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust thinks California Attorney General Kamala Harris is a hypocrite, and is demanding she resign after authorizing a raid on the home of investigative journalist David Daleiden last week.

"Instead of investigating Planned Parenthood, Harris is going after the whistleblower," Rev. James Conrad, the group's director of outreach, said prior to a protest outside Harris' office on Wednesday. "I guess no good deed goes unpunished."

Since last Summer, Daleiden, founder of the Center for Medical Progress, has been releasing videos from his undercover investigation into Planned Parenthood. Those videos provided ample cause for an official investigation into Planned Parenthood's "fetal harvesting" program.

After being criticized by a columnist with the Los Angeles Times for taking too long to prosecute Daleiden, Harris authorized the raid. She is currently a Democrat candidate for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by the retiring Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

By contrast, as has been pointed out by Life Legal Defense Fund, when an undercover investigation of a meat-packing plant revealed potential violations of the law, Harris defended legislation to stop mistreatment of animals. Her office never attempted to prosecute the journalists who exposed the illegal activity.

"Harris should uphold the law, period," Conrad said. "If Daleiden broke the law, prosecute him. But that goes the same for Planned Parenthood.

"It seems pretty obvious to me from the videos that Planned Parenthood was haggling over the harvested body parts, which proves they are selling them for consideration. It doesn't cost Planned Parenthood much to let a harvesting firm come in, so why the haggling? That's illegal. We're upset at the double standard."

Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust used its protest Wednesday to call attention to the fact that the California Attorney General is duty-bound under the state's constitution to be the State's "chief law officer." The attorney general also has a duty "to ensure that the laws of the state are uniformly and adequately enforced."

"If she won't do her job, she shouldn't have it," Bobby Bullock, one of the group's veteran activists said. "Nobody likes people like that."

Another activist, Sheila Jimenez, said the federal laws against selling baby body parts for profit "are there for a reason." Without them, there is no way to make sure abortions aren't incentivized.

She said she is concerned women won't be given information about all their options, but will rather be influenced toward the one abortionists will profit from most.

"And guess who's getting a share in those profits. ... That's right, Kamala Harris!" she shouted. "She has received $81,000 from Planned Parenthood in campaign contributions. That's a conflict of interest. That's corruption."

After the rally, Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust hosted a peaceful, prophetic, performance protest to make the "blood money trail" connection to the public.

"The Bible records that a wise man once said, 'Partiality in judging is not good. Whoever says to the wicked, "You are in the right," will be cursed by peoples, abhorred by nations, but those who rebuke the wicked will have delight, and a good blessing will come upon them.' Today these verses from Proverbs (24:23-25) are being fulfilled," Conrad concluded.
