Bruce Jenner: ‘I Made a Mistake’

When a celebrity’s raison d’être is the approval of the media and the transgender community, expect a lot of spineless behavior. Example: Caitlyn (nee Bruce) Jenner and the Make America Great Again baseball cap.

After the transgender star, made famous by the show Keeping up With the Kardashians, received backlash for sporting a “Make America Great Again” hat on Thursday, Aug. 3, he sat down with TMZ and told them that “I made a mistake. I will never do it again, and I’m getting rid of the hat.”

Jenner would never support Trump after his tweet concerning the transgender military ban. After all, in Jenner’s words, “What he’s doing to our community is absolutely [expletive] awful.”

The story, at least according to TMZ, goes something like this. Apparently, Jenner wanted to protect a fancy hairdo while driving a fancy convertible to get a fancy Starbucks latte. So without looking, he grabbed a random hat from the closet. Jenner didn’t realize it was the MAGA hat. he switched to a visor when he went into Starbucks, then switched back to the MAGA hat.

Wait. So, even though Jenner was horrified that he was wearing the MAGA hat, he kept wearing it after he realized what he had done? There’s a problem here. It seems like the celebrity wanted to keep supporting Trump yet was unwilling to receive the hate from the communities who support the transgender star the most.

Oh well. he’s going to appease the wrath of her biggest fans by putting the hat up for auction and “giving the proceeds to a transgender cause.” Or, according to TMZ, “he might just rip it up or burn it.” Ouch. That’s a little extreme.

Have to keep that $100 million net worth somehow. Maybe it’s worth becoming a member of the sheeple. {eoa}
