WikiLeaks: Clinton Foundation Was 'Run Like a Political Operation'

A November 2008, internal investigation by the Clinton Foundation's Legal and Human Resources departments found "a number of organizational challenges and deficiencies that undermine its effectiveness, expose it to significant risk, and ultimately, threaten its long-term survival."

The report was an attachment to an email sent by Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook to Hillary Clinton's chief of staff, Cheryl Mills. Campaign chairman John Podesta—whose inbox was hacked, leading to the leak of thousands of documents—was also copied on the email.

In the report, the attorney conducting the investigation lamented how the Clinton Foundation was being run "more like a political operation" that sought immediate results, as opposed to long-term strategic goals. Click here to download the entire report.

That wasn't the only damaging detail released by WikiLeaks on Saturday. Here are some of the newest headlines:

This Isn't What Colin Powell Said He Told Her
Did Colin Powell keep his own "private server" while he was secretary of state? His January 2009, email to Hillary Clinton seems to indicate he did, but he did warn her to not destroy any of the emails, because they would be public records.

Mook: Clinton Had an Agreement With and Leverage Over Sanders—In 2015
In a May 26, 2015, email from Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook and Podesta, the former seems put out that a recent Bernie Sanders speech hit out at Hillary over her wealth. This apparently was in violation of an "agreement," and he noted the Clinton camp had "leverage" over the Vermont senator.

In His Own Words: Assange Discusses the Podesta Emails
In an interview with Australian journalist John Pilger, labeled "his most incendiary," WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange discusses the Podesta Emails dossier and what it means not only for the U.S., but the world as a whole.

Podesta: 'If I Ever Hear a Whisper of That Again, I'll Quit'
In one email dated Nov. 13, 2015, Podesta was informed by his deputy, Sarah Latham, that his brother, Tony, had not yet donated to the Hillary Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee that took in donations for the Clinton campaign, the DNC, and more than 30 state parties, but his brother's ex-wife, Heather, had. He grudgingly agreed to talk with his brother, but threatened to quit if a connection to Heather Podesta was ever brought up again.
