Fox News on Tuesday announced the 10 candidates who will participate in the first prime-time Republican U.S. presidential debate this week, including Ohio Governor John Kasich and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, but former Texas Governor Rick Perry and former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum missed the cut.

The prime-time debate in Cleveland on Thursday will feature the top candidates in five national polls selected by the network. Also making the cut were businessman Donald Trump, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, surgeon Ben Carson, and U.S. Senators Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Rand Paul.

Candidates who ranked out of the top 10, including businesswoman Carly Fiorina and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, will participate in a forum held earlier in the evening on Thursday.
