Neutrality Is Killing America and Pacifying the Woke Church

What if I were to tell you that the recent polarization and division the last two elections and the recent pandemic brought in America, especially in the Western church, were of God? Would you believe it? What about the church being divided over moral issues like homosexuality and abortion? Do you believe God is in that division?

I've been writing much on the unity of the body of Christ lately and how important and critical that is in this hour, but we must also understand that division is necessary before true unity can come. I know that won't be received by too many Christians, but it is true, nonetheless. Please allow me to explain.

First of all, Jesus Himself brought division—which he described as a sword—when He arrived on the earth: "Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword" (Matt. 10:34, MEV).

While it is worthy and noble to pursue the unity of the Spirit, the apostle Paul said that there must be divisions in the church: "But, of course, there must be divisions among you so that you who have God's approval will be recognized!" (1 Cor. 11:19, NLT).

That is an amazing verse of Scripture!

You see, in one sense, a sword that brings division is really God's way of measuring true success, and a way of recognizing those who have God's approval.

For the last two or so decades, the American church has been in a soft ,superficial place of silence and neutrality because we don't want to offend people. But Jesus, who came with a sword, is called the "rock of offense" (Rom. 9:33, 1 Pet. 2:8).What will you do with that?

The neutral church says to use wisdom and not offend others. Meanwhile, much of the American church, infected by a grossly immoral and worldly antichrist culture that continues defacing the image of God and changing the gender of our children or killing them in the womb, continues to yawn in a sleepy state at God's will and intentions. God, have mercy on us!

Do you even realize what a blasphemous society America has become? "Blasphemous" does not mean to use the Lord's name in vain; it primarily means to call good, evil and evil, good. Satan loves to package evil in a beautiful cosmetic way so society and the church can swallow it. For example, abortion is called "family planning'; gay marriage is called "love" and symbolized by a colorful rainbow. Jezebel opened the door of perversion into America through a Black president because the devil knew the church would tolerate it rather than be guilty of racism. False prophets stayed silent or diluted the truth with man-pleasing compromises because they wanted to be accepted. The voice of the few true prophets were mocked and ridiculed except by the true remnant of God's beloved people.

The devil did the same with the Black Lives Matter movement. The church is so busy with the externals and the Black face with which the devil packaged the movement that he slipped one right by us. Did you know that three transgenders—really witches—run BLM? And much of the church swallowed the movement hook, line and sinker. It's a cult, people! Real spiritual discernment seems to be at an all-time low because the fear of the Lord is lacking. It is only in the fear of the Lord that there is true wisdom and discernment (Prov. 1:7).

In an effort to fight for justice, the woke church has forsaken truth and righteousness. It's not about race; it's about righteousness. It's not about color; it's about character. It's not about gay rights; it's about the image of God. It's not about family planning and the rights of a woman's body; it's about the murder of the unborn. This is not a battle between political parties but a battle between good and evil!

God is not Republican or Democrat. His throne is established on justice and righteousness (Ps. 97:2). You can't have true justice without true righteousness. That is what is missing in Western culture right now, because the church has not lifted up the standard of God and embodied the true Christ-life. Many praise God with their lips, but their hearts are far from Him. Many profess His name, but deny Him in works. This is America right now:

"Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths And honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, And their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men" (Isa. 29:13, NKJV, emphasis added).

We are so busy with externals that we don't even discern the wiles and tactics of Satan. Neutrality is killing us! Heaven is requiring a bold, uncompromising response right now, but the woke culture and our materialistic society have put many of us to sleep. Meanwhile, other nations are listening to our political rhetoric and intently observing the passing of our insane, nonsensical laws and policies and wondering why much of the church remains silent and neutral.

It's time to fight a different kind of fight because we are not wrestling with flesh and blood but with principalities and powers in heavenly places (Eph. 6:12). Satan knows if he can weaken the Western church through complacency and compromise, he can dethrone America's place on the world stage and affect the entire world. We are ruining the future of America's and the nations' children with our neutrality, our silence and our apathy.

Yet there is an underground church in America that is rising. This glorious church is made up of true disciples who are being prepared for the mighty harvest of souls before us and the return of the Lord. They know that we are in a very serious time of both judgment and glory running simultaneously beside each other. For those who are hiding themselves in the true counsel of the Lord and dwelling in His holy fear, I can boldly say that this is our finest hour. Fear not; the best is yet to come, both now and in eternity.
