When my wife, Carolyn, and I seriously pray and wait on the Lord together, there is almost always an anointing of the Holy Spirit present. I don’t say that to boast in any way, but as a matter of fact and truth (God knows our hearts).
We pray with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit as instructed to in Ephesians 6:18. But there is revelation that often comes, and great wisdom and counsel from our Father.
The Father shared His heart toward the nations with us this morning. It’s found in Psalms 145:8-9:
“The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger, and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, and His compassion is over all His works.”
As we worshipped and waited on the Lord, we saw His great love, compassion and mercy for all mankind. He knows what’s coming. He knows His wrath must one day be released on all evil and ungodliness. But He, as the husbandman, is patient and waits for the precious fruit of the earth (James 5:7). He wants all humanity saved and desires for none to perish (2 Pet. 3:9).
We saw the multitudes, representing millions in the nations, a small portion of them coming to our southern border—among them women, youth and small children with hope in their hearts for a brighter future and a better tomorrow … their hopes suddenly snuffed away by evil men and inhumane conditions such as those present at our southern border now.
Then we prayed for the Lord to deal with what is wicked and unreasonable within government and administration, rooting out the corruption and antichrist spirit from leaders on the national, state and local levels, as well as in our courts and justice, law and order systems. We sensed the Lord’s love, mercy and compassion toward the poor and suffering, but we also felt His anger toward injustice, even though He is slow to anger. Oh, how He loves humanity! He has compassion for the innocent who are heavily burdened. But He compares governments, rulers and false religious leaders who are as clouds without rain to antichrist and false prophets. Multitudes are under the cloud of satanic deception that has come upon the whole world.
Very few on this planet know what is going on at the right hand of the Father in heaven. And it is only a remnant of His church who discern and understand the times and know what they ought to do as the sons of Issachar did in days of old (see 1 Chron. 12:32).
We saw Jesus directing His body as an army from the right hand of the Father as we wait on Him—everyone marching and taking their place and doing their part in these end of days to carry God’s love and glory where a harvest of souls still awaits to be gathered.
We also saw Jesus not only dealing with the nations and the peoples of the earth, but with the rest of His church severely in judgment and calling them out from their sin and carnality to be separate from all that’s unclean.
Listen to the words of prophet Stanley Frodsham from 1965 that are more applicable now for America and the nations than they’ve ever been:
“With great judgments will I plead with the population of this country. Great darkness is coming upon the countries that have heard My gospel but no longer walk in it. My wrath shall come upon them.”
And then he prophesied this about the church:
“Before I visit the nations in judgment I will begin at My house. When I do cause My wrath to come upon the cities of the world, My people shall be separate. I desire a people without spot and wrinkle, and such shall be preserved by Me in the time of My wrath, which will come upon all iniquity and unrighteousness.”
We saw Jesus dealing with His body as an army, soldiers and warriors enduring hardness and fighting the good fight of faith and not being entangled in the affairs of this life, as those unprepared did in the days of Noah, but we also saw Him loving His body as a bride from the right hand of the Father as we worship Him and wait on Him.
It is His bride who will know the mind of Christ and move in His true wisdom and counsel in these last days.
It is His bride who will display the heart of the Father to hurting and lost humanity in this hour, and the love and glory of the Bridegroom.
The bride is purified in those times of worship and adoration. It is in that secret place where she stays free of deception and offense, where hurts and wounds from the battle are healed and taken away, where she is cleansed and cleared of all sin and weights every day.
The body of Christ is both a bride and an army.
Come into His presence now people of God and receive of our Father and Jesus our Bridegroom.
