How can an evil woman who lived 3,000 years ago be wreaking havoc on America today?
It’s not only possible, it’s happening, says national radio host Dr. Michael Brown, author of the soon-to-be-released book, Jezebel’s War with America: The Plot to Destroy Our Country and What We Can Do to Turn the Tide.
The key to fighting Jezebel’s evil advances, Brown says, is for believers to resist the pushes and pulls of Jezebel’s spirit and put on the armor of God.
“Queen Jezebel was an incredibly evil, demonically controlled woman,” Brown says. “She may have lived three centuries ago, but those same demonic forces that operated through her—through the spirit of Jezebel—are operating in America again today. The spirit of Jezebel is here. But we’re not fighting a person. We’re fighting demonic forces, and in Jesus, we have overcome. Therefore, we are not to be intimidated by Jezebel’s fear tactics. God says to us, ‘Fear not.’ We are in him, He is in us, in Him we overcome, and we give no place to Jezebel. We realize that temptation and other persuasions that will come our way are not natural—they’re spiritual, and they’re out to destroy us. To counter them, we put on the armor of God, we get filled with the joy of the Lord, and we say no to Jezebel.”
In Jezebel’s War with America, out Aug. 6, Brown details how Jezebel’s spirit is attacking life, leadership and faith. His book also focuses on the fact that Jezebel’s spirit is at work through radical feminism, the extreme pro-abortion movement, and other spiritual and cultural forces in an attempt to destroy America. Brown’s eye-opening book not only unveils a satanic plot, beginning with an all-out assault on the church, but it will equip believers with tools to defeat the enemy in their own lives as well as in the nation.
“Because Jezebel’s spirit is alive and well, that means if we are to see America turn around, it’s not just a political battle. It’s not just a social battle. It’s not just a culture battle. It’s ultimately a spiritual battle. On a national level, Jezebel will be defeated through prayer and fasting. That means on a national level, Jezebel will be defeated through our repentance and the purifying of our hearts. That means that on the national level, the prophets, prophetic voices, pastors and leaders must speak and regain their authority. That means that the emasculated men must stand up and lead and protect and guide and nurture as they were called to do.”
