Today at 3 p.m. (EST) nationally known prophetic leaders will analyze and give direction about the Nov. 2 midterm elections. The one-hour broadcast will be live on generals.org and will be hosted by Mike and Cindy Jacobs, heads of Generals International in Red Oak, Texas, on their online show G.I. Connect. Cindy Jacobs says the purpose of the event will also be to give Christians prayer directives about politics and government.

“We want to get a prophetic consensus of what the Holy Spirit is saying from here, what’s going to happen in the next few years and how people should pray,” Cindy Jacobs said today. “[We’re] even looking at the 2012 elections.”

Among the ministers being interviewed on the show via Skype are Rick Joyner of Morning Star Ministries in Fort Mill, SC; Harry Jackson of Hope Christian Church in Beltsville, Md; and Bishop Bill Hamon of Christian International and Pastor Jane Hamon of Christian International Family Church in Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.

Cindy Jacobs is hoping to come away from the call with directions from God on how Christians should proceed, but says she will not share exactly what she believes God is saying until she’s put all the “pieces together” on today’s call.

“I’m not going to give my piece until we get all of the pieces together and then I’ll share what I feel from there,” she says.
