How Kim Clement, Chuck Pierce Prophesied Trump’s Presidency Years Before His Election

If you keep up with current events at all, you know the left loves to hate President Donald Trump. But no matter how much Democrats rage against him, it doesn’t change the fact that several prominent prophets—including Kim Clement and Chuck Pierce—predicted his presidency years before the 2016 election.

“American Adversaries Radio” host Christopher Hart recently interviewed me about this topic. (Click here or click the podcast icon in this article to listen.) I told Hart that prophets were predicting Trump’s presidency as far back as 2007, with Kim Clement declaring God was raising up a “disrupter” to become president.

“God says, ‘The one that is chosen shall go in, and they shall say, “He has hot blood,”‘” Clement prophesied in 2007. “For the Spirit of God says, ‘Yes, he may have hot blood, but he will bring the walls of protection on this country in a greater way and the economy of this country shall change rapidly,’ says the Lord of Hosts. … God says, ‘I will put at your helm for two terms a president who will pray, but he will not be a praying president when he starts.'”

Clement passed away in late November 2016, only weeks after Trump was elected president. As weighty as his words were, he’s not the only one who prophesied Trump’s win.

Chuck Pierce prophesied a similar word in 2008. He said God would play a “trump card,” and it was only later on that he realized the word was in reference to Donald Trump. The more Pierce sought the Lord on this word, the more he believed God would set Trump in place as America’s president.

I have found Pierce to be a very accurate prophet. Back in 2008, my wife, Joy, and I had dinner with him, during which he told us Barack Obama would win the presidential election that year. To my dismay, his prophetic word was spot on.

I write in more detail about Pierce’s Trump prophecy in my book God and Donald Trump, where I record the words of others who also prophesied. One such person was a Catholic holy man. Yet another was a local fireman named Mark Taylor.

While overhearing Donald Trump speak on TV, Taylor heard God tell him, “You’re hearing the voice of the president.” Taylor expected the word to be about the upcoming 2012 election, so he was surprised when Obama won the election that year. But as usual with prophetic words, timing was key. In 2016, his prophetic word came true, and Trump won.

With such compelling evidence, it’s hard to say God did not intend for Trump to become America’s president. In fact, I wasn’t a Trump supporter when he first started campaigning. But as I saw several serious Christians I respected coming out in favor of Trump and his policies, I had to reconsider. Although I originally supported Cruz, when it came down to a battle between Trump and Hillary Clinton, I knew what my choice had to be.

But Democrats have a hard time understanding how conservative Christians can support a man like Trump. Last year, Alisyn Camerota interviewed me on CNN, asking me that very question: Why do evangelicals overlook Trump’s character flaws? (This is when the scandal with Stormy Daniels had taken over the media.)

I told her that although I did not support Trump’s previous immoral decisions, I do support his policies. And if there’s anything Christians should be known for, it should be forgiveness. I also pointed out that the left has no business chiding conservatives for overlooking flaws, since they did the same thing with Bill Clinton.

And evangelical support of Trump hasn’t been in vain. Since he’s been in the White House, the economy has boomed, our foreign diplomacy has strengthened and our religious liberties have stayed intact. I detail these accomplishments and more in my latest book, Trump Aftershock. (You can purchase your own copy by clicking here.)
