Anarchy in the Streets Part of Left's 'Cycle of Agitation'

Introduce a little anarchy, upset the established order, and everything becomes chaos. I'm an agent of chaos! Oh, and you know the thing about chaos ... it's fair!" —The Joker, The Dark Knight

Today, as temper tantrums litter the streets of our cities and pity parties fill the halls of our universities after the election, the words of the Joker, spoken nearly a decade ago, are eerily relevant.

"It's not fair!" they shout.

So they introduce a little anarchy and upset the rule of law to force their demands on society.

But who is "they," and what exactly is it "they" want?

"They" are political, financial, academic and media elites who want to eliminate the fear of God, the rule of law and individual freedom in America. "They" virtually want to destroy Western democracy and rebuild a new government—under their total control—devoid of these basic building blocks of liberty.

George Washington warned of such groups in his Farewell Address, saying, "[The] fatal tendency ... (is) to put, in the place of the delegated will of the Nation, the will of ... a small but artful and enterprising minority ... cunning, ambitious and unprincipled men [who] will be enabled to subvert the Power of the People and to usurp for themselves the reins of government."

But this "unprincipled minority" was stopped dead in its tracks this month by the power of the people in nearly every election across this great land—national, state and local.

Yet "they" refuse to accept the will of the people and instead are introducing anarchy and chaos in our streets through riots and protests. Wherever possible, they rub resentment, fan hostilities and create/exploit disagreement.

And it's all being promoted by political elites (Democrats and establishment Republicans), funded by financial elites (George Soros and big business), educated by academic elites (university professors abroad) and propagated by media elites (CNN, MSNBC, ABC, you name it). And of course, it's punctuated by Hollywood elites.

What's interesting is that it's all part of a cleverly devised plan. These folks collude together—WikiLeaks just scratched the surface of this—to bring disruption to the rule of law and established order to force their demands.

Our good friend, Craig Siebert, at uscivicstraining.org, has an excellent video describing all of this. He calls it the "cycle of agitation."

Check it out—and watch how each recent agitation from gay marriage and transgender bathrooms to #HandsUpDontShoot and #NotMyPresident follows the exact same pattern. It's just rinse and repeat until their "change" is forced on us all:

  1. Core group
  2. Plan
  3. Propaganda
  4. Crisis
  5. Target
  6. Vilify
  7. Agitate
  8. Pressure
  9. Concession
  10. Celebrate
  11. Review
  12. Plan next agitation

It all starts with the core group. They develop the plan, deliver their propaganda to media, create the crisis, pick the target and polarize it (Trump is one focal point), vilify the target as well as all supporters, agitate the community (protests, cry-ins), continue to apply pressure through enlisting other support (big business, entertainers, athletes) and obtain concession from the target.

Once concession is delivered, they celebrate through media—using their propaganda, of course (like "love wins")—they then review their plan and fine tune it for greater impact as they plan the next agitation.

All this is done in the name of "fairness" and inclusion. The Joker was prophetic—and his method of chaos not only worked on the silver screen in Gotham, it works in real life too.

This is why it's vital for Christians to resist the cycle of agitation with a courageous commitment to the truth.

As Ronald Reagan once said, "Freedom is never more than a generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected and handed on for them to do the same. Or one day we'll spend our sunset years telling our children and children's children what it was once like to live in America where men we free."
