Following the tragic terror attacks in London this week, Leading The Way‘s founder and president Dr. Michael Youssef says it’s vital more than ever that Christians stand firm in their faith and wake up to these radical Islamist threats.

“I grieve deeply for the victims and the people of the U.K., especially as I have so many friends there,” he said. “This is the time when we must uphold the faith without compromise. We need to stand up for the truth of the gospel as we reach out even to militants, telling them in love that the truth can only be found in Jesus Christ.

“We also need to pray for these militants to be converted. We’re seeing radical Muslims come to Christ, even a former ISIS leader, through our ministry at Leading The Way. The God I believe in is the God of the impossible, and they can be reached.”

In his latest book, The Barbarians Are Here, Dr. Youssef offers clear insight into the motives and mission of Islamic extremists. He offers practical steps we can take right now to begin a New Reformation that will restore the hope of Western civilization.

Dr. Youssef concluded: “The ultimate call of this book is for a return to the purity of the gospel. We are not doomed to destruction, even though the barbarians are already here. But we haven’t a moment to lose. This is the cry of my heart—that this book will wake up the church to be serious about their faith and prayer.”
