As a prophetic teacher, Byron Easterling’s vision, as it states in the biography on his website, is to “awaken every believer’s identity in Christ and more fully empower them to deeply experience the love of God.”
It’s a mission statement, but it’s also his desire as a kingdom leader to help believers move into the presence of the Spirt of God every day. It’s also something he teaches with a passion through his Charisma Podcast Network show, New Era Explorers with Byron Easterling.
And when he conducts meeting, he says his greatest joy is that the Spirit of God will be there and manifest itself so believers can experience the fullness of Christ.
“I want people to enter in and find a place of rest,” Easterling told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “I want them to be able to just come in with prayer and listen to the Holy Spirit and respond. There is a lot of hope that springs forth from that.
“It’s my desire to lead people into a place where they themselves are hearing from the Holy Spirit instead of me telling them what they are supposed to hear,” Easterling said. “It’s encouraging for me to be able to lead them and facilitate that place for them.
“I recently had someone respond to me after a podcast and they just said, ‘I’ve been longing for this for a long time,’ he said. “‘Just lead me there; you facilitate it.’ So I stopped my day, and it didn’t take long. I stopped, and it just open up the avenue of the Holy Spirit. …
“I think as we discover … as we go deeper, we hear His voice more clearly,” Easterling added. “I think He has a unique voice for each of us in a sense of how we hear in our spirit and how we hear in our heart and mind. As we draw near to Him, it allows our voice to be released in power and authority. God has given us a place to put our feet and walk in authority in the kingdom.”
