What God Is Doing in This Hour to Elevate Women

As a Christian psychologist, Barbara Lowe has accepted a calling from God to help all believers move into a fuller life with Christ.

But God spoke to Lowe nearly two years ago and told her to concentrate her focus mainly on helping women reach the wholeness in Jesus that many hunger for but cannot find on their own. That's why she developed Dr. Barbara's Whole Life Podcast, which helps women move from a weary, wounded and disillusioned life to one of peace and contentment.

And Lowe knows all about what she's preaching, having grown up in an abusive and dysfunctional family and gone through drug abuse, divorce and an eating disorder.

"Right now, God is doing something to elevate women," Lowe told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. "Our ministry and podcast addresses issues like domestic violence, marital abuse, eating disorders, infertility and finding your purpose.

"We're helping to equip women to walk in wholeness. God is after women and all people really being whole because He is after legacy. And we can offer a legacy when we step into more wholeness. The women in the Bible—the Samaritan woman, Ruth, Hannah, Mary—their legacy was gargantuan and ours can be too.

"The impact on the kingdom we have as women is much greater than we ever thought possible. It is my pleasure to help them step into wholeness, to help them receive healing and to help them become more than they ever thought they could be."
