How the Holy Spirit Will Help You Execute the Great Commission

Kandi Gallaty ( YouTube channel)

Every morning in her quiet time with God, Kandi Gallaty asks Holy Spirit—or, "The Wonder," as she likes to call Him—to empower her to make disciples of all nations, just as Jesus commanded.

Without Him, she realizes her daily quest will be futile.

"I'm just praying that the Lord is going to open my eyes and speak to me. That happens through His Word the Holy Spirit inside of me," Gallaty, co-founder of Replicate Ministries and co-pastor with her husband, Robby, of Longhollow Baptist Church in Nashville, Tennessee, said on a recent episode of "Charisma Connection" on the Charisma Podcast Network. "When I'm pouring into other people, it's obviously an overflow from Him and what is happening in my own life and personal time with Him.

"Then, I'm praying and asking the Spirit to use me and be in the midst of my conversations with others. I'm just praying and depending upon the Spirit in order to walk alongside ladies and even more so, my children. I'm pouring into them and investing in them and just praying that the Spirit gives me wisdom and guides me and gives me clarity in all of those areas."

Gallaty is the author of Disciple Her, a book that gives women a practical game plan for weaving discipleship into their weekly lifestyle and helps them teach those they disciple to do the same.
