Google Caught Red-Handed Censoring Easter Holiday

Today, corporations will promote a man who believes that he is a woman to no ends and offer him endorsement deals, and at the same time try to scrub any mention of Jesus or Christianity from their public messages.

This past Easter, Google removed any mention of the Resurrection of Jesus that is celebrated by over 2 billion people worldwide.

Google has been criticized in the past for how and what it recognizes with its homepage "doodles" and while no company will ever be able to make every person from every demographic happy, there are too many "coincidences" to ignore when it comes to Christianity.

It is a company policy that Google tries to refrain from religiously based doodles, even though it has done several in the past. This year however, it was much more than a lack of a Google doodle that had many up-in-arms about what appeared to be Google's censorship on the Easter holiday.

If someone were to type into the Google search bar asking what holiday it was on Apr. 9, 2023, it is a safe assumption that one of the two most holy celebrations in the world's largest religion should show up.

Instead, searchers were met with the news that Apr. 9 was in fact "National Chicken Little Day" with nary a mention of Easter, much less Jesus Christ and the Resurrection.

Easter Not a Holiday

In the United States, Easter is not a recognized federal holiday.

According to FederalPay.org, "Good Friday and Easter Monday are not Federal Holidays. All federal holidays are non-religious (other than Christmas Day). Note: The New York Stock Exchange is closed for trading on Good Friday."

This may be why Google also does not list Easter as a holiday, to the furor of many on social media, and instead lists it as a "festivity."

Easter Festivity

Contrasting this designation, the Jewish celebration of Passover and the Muslim celebration of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha are presented as holidays.

So why does Easter appear to be less-visible than other holidays?

Bias aside, this treatment provides even more evidence that the Word of God is true in its message, and that Christians are living them out in this day.

In John 15, Jesus shares that the world will in fact hate Him because He is the truth. It will also hate His followers because it shines light on the darkness of the world, and there are those within it that choose the darkness over the light.

According to Jesus' own words, His followers will endure persecution because of this.

While America has long enjoyed the peaceful observance of faith, those times are coming to an end.

There is a movement to not only silence, but twist and corrupt the teachings of the Bible.

The true message of Resurrection Sunday is being replaced with perverted versions of biblical personalities so grotesque and unrepentant that it invites God's judgement on America.

One example takes place in San Francisco, California, where the "Foxy Mary and Hunky Jesus" contest is held on Easter weekend.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle: "The Foxy Mary and Hunky Jesus contests are organized by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a non-profit composed of queer and trans nuns that celebrated their 44th anniversary this weekend. As the name suggests, the day-long event showcases the body of Christ, with a series of drag shows, plenty of crass religious puns and a costume contest featuring roughly 100 participants."

The event drew upward of 10,000 attendees.

This is why followers of Jesus must be biblically literate and firmly entrenched in the Word of God.

Emotions can flare at the disrespect, erasure and blasphemy of Jesus Christ within American society today. It can be hard to pray for those who openly mock the Savior who died in their place upon the cross, but the true battle is against the spiritual powers behind this mockery who want to drag those same people into the bowels of hell with them.

Many believe that the end times are upon us, that the world has rapidly approached the level of sin as was seen in Noah's days, and in many ways it has.

Yet victory over this kind of persecution, sin and blasphemy is only attainable through the blood shed on the cross. That is why the enemy wants to hide the power of the blood that overcame sin and death and was realized in its full authority in Jesus when He was resurrected from the grave.

That is the power of Resurrection Sunday that Satan wants to hide from the public, because he knows it defeated him once, and will do so again once and for all upon Jesus' triumphant return.
