Mike Signorelli: Deliverance from Demonic Influence is Overdue and Happening Now

The act of deliverance from demonic activity can be unsettling for many, especially if they do not understand what is taking place and its spiritual significance.

There are many passages in the Bible that discuss the casting out of demons and the physical manifestations of them inhabiting a body.

Demons attacked the sons of Sceva in the book of Acts and beat them while possessing a man. They cried out when they recognized Jesus in the synagogue in Luke chapter 4.

So why are Americans unfamiliar with deliverance ministry and the freedom in Christ that comes with it?

Pastor Mike Signorelli, founder and lead pastor of V1 Church in New York City, shared with Charisma News that America is just now catching up to the rest of the world when it comes to deliverance from demonic forces.

"Deliverance is very normal everywhere else in the world, except for the United States," Signorelli says. "So, unfortunately, here in the United States, we're just catching up to the reality of the need to be free from demons.

"I go to Eastern Europe and I minister all the time, you have Latin American countries where I've been ministering for years and years, and deliverance is normal," he added.

While the U.S. has been stagnant and lagging behind other parts of the world when it comes to casting out demons and setting their captives free, things are beginning to change on that front.

With the recent release of the deliverance film "Come Out in Jesus Name," physical and spiritual eyes are starting to open to not just the reality of casting out demons, but the necessity of it.

Signorelli states that the physical manifestations of demons leaving the body can be intense, but is followed by freedom and rejoicing.

"After [the film was over] we started renouncing and breaking curses," recalls Signorelli.

"You can see on my channels, I posted video clips of people puking in popcorn buckets...and being in the theater and watching it happen was so insane. But on the other side of all that screaming is the shout of victory, and it's a life of freedom. You can see the same people's faces completely changed.

"I'm already getting a flood of testimonies, people's marriages being restored, physical bodies were healed, because the spirit of infirmity can be connected to the need for deliverance," says Signorelli.

Like the disciples who came before him, Signorelli tells how this is not a one-and-done experience, but a lifestyle that must be consistently pursued and that others must be trained up in deliverance ministry.

Signorelli does this at no cost to those who want to learn more about deliverance ministry.

"If you go to mikesignorelli.com, you can click on the breakers [link] and sign up to be a part of it," Signorelli explained.

"That's the joy of my heart to see single mothers casting out demons...to see blue collar workers, me who just got off of work, but they're standing up on movie theater chairs and proclaiming the gospel and they're praying for people

"To me, full-time ministry means 'God, wherever I am, use me.' If I'm in the Walmart, use me. If I'm in the parking lot of a grocery store, use me...whatever I do, seek first the kingdom, and then all these things will be added unto you," says Signorelli.

Just as the 70 sent out by Jesus in Luke chapter 10 came back with reports of demons being cast out, so too can Spirit-filled Christians today embark on the journey of deliverance.

The need is great, but as the Word says, "the laborers are few," (Luke 10:2). So will Christians in America take up the call to go out as lambs among wolves and cast out the demons plaguing society today? Let us all pray that so many will take up the charge that a great reaping of souls occurs in the days ahead.
