Televangelist Jesse Duplantis Accused of Heresy Afteyour Sermon on Isaiah 9:6

A common verse used during the Christmas season is that of Isaiah 9:6, saying, "For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace."

This verse is traditionally attributed to being a prophetic saying about the coming of Jesus Christ.

Yet this past Christmas season, televangelist Jesse Duplantis had another take on it.

The 'Undeniable' Proof of Where Jesus Miraculously Healed a Blind Man

The Pool of Siloam, where Jesus healed a blind man and whom Pastor John Hagee says is one of the most inspiring stories of the Bible, will open soon to the public and will put on display yet another affirmation of the validity of Holy Scripture.

Just prior to the New Year, the Israel Antiquities Authority, the Israel National Parks Authority and the City of David Foundation announced that the site will be open to the public in the near future for the first time in more than 2,000 years, Fox News Digital reported. The Pool of Siloam is a site cherished by both Christians and Jews, and religious leaders, including some Christians, are touting it as indisputable evidence that God's Word is indeed true.

"When I think of this news, I think of another phrase from the Hebrew Bible, 'My ears have heard of you, but now my eyes have seen you,'" Rev. Johnnie Moore, president of the Congress of Christian Leaders, told Fox News Digital.

EOY2022: Massive End-of-Year Event Unites Believers in the Power of the Holy Spirit

Like the disciples of Jesus gathered in an upper room on Pentecost, believers spanning several generations and continents welcomed the Holy Spirit on New Year's Eve in Dallas, Texas, with the goal of "encountering God and His glory." EOY2022 united worship and ministry leaders from Dallas-area churches, including UPPERROOM, as well as Spirit-filled ministries Jesus Image and Pastor Michael Koulianos, Circuit Riders, Black Voices Movement, Gen Z For Jesus and leader Brian Barcelona.

From Gen Z to Millennials to a woman recognized for her relationship with Jesus over five decades, worshippers from Central and South Americas, Europe, Australia, India and the United States responded to the Holy Spirit's invitation to UPPERROOM Dallas three days before 2023.

For almost seven hours on New Year's Eve, worship, teaching, prayer and proclamation of the gospel marked the ending of 2022. An invitation to receive Jesus and the baptism in the Holy Spirit highlighted the final night of the massive gathering.
