Amazon’s Smile Program Continues Discrimination Against Christian Charities

With words changing their meanings seemingly on a whim the past few years, the weaponization of words has spread to silence Christians and anyone else who stands against the woke, far-left agenda.

Once upon a time, the phrase “hate-group” used to mean a group or organization that was made up of individuals who professed and promoted hatred toward certain groups or people. Now, people are labeled “hateful” for simply disagreeing with one another.

But that is all part of the ploy, silence the opposition by falsely accusing them of hateful rhetoric so they will change their stance.

Falsely labeling a group ‘hateful’ has also had a negative economic impact on many charities that believe in biblical values.

Corporations such as Amazon have their own internally created programs to allow customers to donate to their charity of choice. Unless those charities support biblical, godly values.

Amazon shockingly uses the far-left Southern Poverty Law Center, which has grouped Christian organizations such as Liberty Counsel, American Family Association and the Alliance Defending Freedom among organizations such as the KKK and The Westboro Baptist Church.

The SPLC annotates which of the groups on their page is designated a “hate group” by their organization only, which far outnumbers what the government lists as hate groups.

The ADF’s website says, “ADF is the world’s largest legal organization committed to protecting free speech, religious freedom, parental rights and the sanctity of life and the family. And we work every day to build a society where life is cherished and protected and everyone can freely share their ideas, exercise their faith and live together peacefully despite different beliefs, opinions and backgrounds.”

Not exactly hateful rhetoric, but that isn’t the point for the SPLC. The point is to target and squelch dissenting opinions against the far left.

And this is exactly why Amazon uses them as a source of identifying charitable partners as being allowed into the Smile program or not. Because Amazon agrees with the SPLC stance but is unable to publicly say so.

As reported by the Daily Caller, “the Black Lives Matter Global Foundation (BLM) and the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund (TLDEF) are in good standing with the Amazon Smile program.”

Nevermind the deaths and destruction caused by the BLM riots during the summer of 2020 and the organization’s wildly racist comments, or TLDEF’s child mutilation and sterilization of the transgender movement, but this narrative is the exact same thing that the Left hates Elon Musk for exposing at Twitter.

The radical leftist agenda is being implemented in all aspects of American society, while Christian group and organizations are being driven out.

So, what are Christians to do when the society they helped build is kicking them out?

What is stopping Christians from starting their own businesses such as media companies, banks, schools and farms? There is an abundance of Christian business owners and pastors with large amounts of wealth to fund start-ups. But what about faith in the Lord to start a new venture?

Living in a society hostile to the Lord is not an easy one, but it is an opportunity for Christian businesses to succeed and demonstrate the power and love of God.

The Bible tells believers that this type of treatment should be expected to anyone standing up for the Word of God, and that the world will actively hate them. But the world hated Paul and the other disciples and look at the impact they had!

As Paul wrote to the church at Philippi, “I can do all things because of Christ who strengthens me,” (Phil. 4:13). This includes starting a new business, opening a sustainable farm or garden, helping Christians with their finances or bringing the Word of God to a world that hates Him.

But just that little mustard seed-size faith will help get these plans from the drawing table and into reality that can change the world. {eoa}
