There is a spiritual world that exists outside of what the human eye can perceive. Humans are spiritual beings made in the image of God. What happens in the unseen realm affects your daily life and you often don’t even realize what is going on.
The Bible tells us that angels and demons are in the spiritual world. In Hebrews 1 it says that God sends angels to minister to those who will inherit salvation. There are also demons who disguise themselves as angels of light and they come with one mission: steal, kill and destroy.
What if these demons were influencing culture and entertainment in ways you haven’t realized? Christian YouTuber Troy Black shared a profound prophetic vision God gave him concerning ancient pagan gods in our world today.
“I began to see this image of this Egyptian god and he was turned to the side. What it looked like was sort of a man’s body and the head was kind of a like a dogs head,” Black says. During his vision God spoke to him and said the word “Anubis.”
In his video, Black shares what’s behind the name “Anubis.” “It’s an ancient Egyptian god of the dead represented by a jackal or the figure of a man with the head of a jackal,” he says.
Why is this important?
God spoke to him and said: “They like to be worshipped. They’re returning in multiple formats. Taking on images they once held, but with new meaning in the hearts of the worshippers. A satanic agenda is being spread across culture and entertainment with the goal of restructuring ancient religious symbols into modern day formats so that the worship of ‘foreign’ (or false) gods can proceed.”
Rabbi Jonathan Cahn has had similar prophetic visions from God. In his new book “Return of the Gods” he shares in-depth revelation about what is happening to America and the world.
Cahn and Black believe these gods have returned as hidden agents, diabolically altering modern culture as we know it.
Second Timothy 4:3-4 says, “For the time will come when people will not endure sound doctrine, but they will gather to themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, having itching ears, and they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn to myths.”
The Dark Trinity
There is one pertinent question God is asking you today. Black says God told him, “Ask my church this: what is more important entertainment value or my presence in your midst?” With a plethora of entertainment at your fingertips it can be enticing to fill your time and mind with latest buzzworthy show.
The goal isn’t for believers to completely cut themselves off from the world and all entertainment. Entertainment itself isn’t inherently evil. As born-again, Spirit-filled believer’s, you have the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you on what is good and not good for you.
Cahn reveals the god’s of Israel apostasy that are influencing culture today. “The three gods embodied the apostasy itself. One of the three remains something of a mystery. Another of the three was both one and many. And the other changed identities and appearances depending on the time, place, people and culture. Together they constituted Israel’s dark trinity.”
As a watchman on the wall, Cahn is sounding the alarm on the mystery of the gods and the dark trinity. The same pagan gods that influenced ancient Israel and its fall from God are influencing America. In the book Cahn goes into greater detail about what opened the door and the hope Christians have today.
Discerning of Spirits
The body of Christ needs to be praying and asking God for the gift of the discerning of spirits. First Corinthians 12:10 says, “To another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues and to another the interpretation of tongues.”
What you watch and listen to impacts your spiritual health. If you fill your time with depressing, sad and scary movies then you are likely to reap the effects of that in your life. The Bible says that as we behold Jesus with our eyes of faith that we are transformed into His image, from glory to glory.
Pray and be led by the Holy Spirit daily. Let Him lead you and guide you. Jesus is the Good Shepherd and He will not let you be led astray. Keep your eyes fixed upon Jesus and as you read the Bible your mind is continually being washed by the water of the Word.
