Natural disasters, financial despair, pandemics, a deep political party division over cultural issues—indeed the enemy is working overtime to keep people discouraged and in darkness.

Evangelist Franklin Graham, however, says there is a solution, if only believers and non-believers alike will die to self and surrender their lives to Jesus. During the BGEA’s six-city “God Loves You Tour,” Graham said the emptiness in your life can be filled by a life-changing decision to follow Christ.

“People are searching for purpose and meaning in life. Is there something missing in your life?” Graham said in a Facebook post this week. “I shared with the crowd in Flint, Michigan, that we have a vacuum, an emptiness, in our lives that can only be filled by God.

“I’m not talking about religion—I’m talking about a relationship with God, through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. We give God the glory for all those who made the life-changing decision this evening at the Crossroads Village to come to Jesus Christ in repentance and faith. The Bible says, ‘for God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved'” (John 3:17).

In Youngstown, Ohio, recently, Graham shared with a huge crowd that there’s “only One who can solve all of our problems.”

“We thank God for those who made the life-changing decision this evening at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre to put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, and Him alone,” Graham said.

Thousands recently crowded into the York Expo Center in Pennsylvania to hear the Good News of Christ, and multitudes gave their lives over to Jesus.

“Are you sure your sins are forgiven? Are you sure that if you died tonight, you would be in God’s presence for eternity?” Graham asked. “I’m not talking about thinking so, but knowing so. Jesus Christ came to this earth to save sinners—and we are all sinners. He took our sins to the cross—He died for our sins, was buried, and God raised Him to life on the third day. He’s alive! He will forgive you if you will come to Him in repentance and faith. We thank God for all of those who responded to the invitation to put their trust in Jesus. Now they can be sure about where they will spend eternity.”

The God Loves You Tour continues on to Waukesha, Wisconsin, Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Waukesha County Expo Center. Along with the message of encouragement, there will be praise and worship music from Dennis Agajanian and the Newsboys (official).

“So many people are hurting and need hope,” Graham says. “They need to know that God loves then and they can find hope and peace by putting their faith in God’s son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Those that have given their hearts to Jesus during this tour have been forgiven—they have a fresh start. The Bible says, ‘if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation’ (2 Cor. 5:17).

“Would you join me in praying for them right now—men, women, young people—as they begin their new walk with Christ?” {eoa}
