A man was shot to death in Montgomery, Alabama, as he was reportedly sharing the gospel over the weekend.

Thomas Hand Jr., 37, was the husband of former Miss Mississippi Christine Kozlowski Hand. He died at the scene of the crime in front of his two-year-old child, WLOX-TV reported.

Some outlets report his wife and child were both with him, with the Daily Mail proclaiming he was sharing his Christian faith with individuals in a rough Alabama neighborhood at the time of the attack.

Hillsong Leader Brian Houston Resigns to Fight Charge He Hid Father's Sexual Abuse

Brian Houston, the leader of Australian-based global megachurch Hillsong, has stepped down from his position to fight a charge of covering up child sex offenses committed by his preacher father, Frank, several media outlets are reporting.

The 67-year-old Houston was charged in August last year in Sydney with concealing a serious indictable offense and said in a statement he had already been told to step aside from all Hillsong boards.

"In December during our board meeting, Hillsong's external legal counsel gave the board advice regarding the current charge I am facing—that it would be the 'best practice' for me to step aside completely from church leadership during the court proceedings," Houston said in the released statement. "We have talked about the effects of the situation with my father, which go back many years up to the current legal case, and the impact this has had on me emotionally.

The hugely popular television series, The Chosen, is the first multi-season story about the life of Jesus Christ. Garnering millions of dollars in support, it has become the top crowd-funded media project of all time.

So far, The Chosen's worldwide audience has paid it forward to completely fund Seasons One, Two and Three, with the hope of having a fully funded Season Four in 2023.

The series continues to captivate audiences and has even inspired one renowned painter to capture a poignant moment between Jesus and Mary Magdalene.

Woman Brought Back to Life, but Not Before She Sees Jesus Face to Face

On Feb. 12, 2018, Brian Hines called 911.

Dispatch Operator: "Fire Department ... what is the address of your emergency?

Brian: "Tina! Please, Honey! I think my wife is having a heart attack! She passed out!"

Dispatch Operator: "Listen, is she breathing?"

Brian: "No, she is not!"

Tina was unresponsive.

Jordan Peterson recently said, during a podcast with Joe Rogan, "It isn't that the Bible is true. It's that the Bible is the precondition for the manifestation of truth, which makes it way more true than just true. It's a whole different kind of truth. And I think this is not only literally the case. Factually, I think it can't be any other way. It's the only way we can solve the problem of perception."

This comes on the heels of the news that famous Christian rap artist/apologist Brady "Phanatik" Goodwin renounced his faith because he said that he no longer believed the Scriptures.

In my opinion, the greatest proof of the Bible is the impossibility of the contrary. Without the truths that Scripture puts forth, there is no rational understanding for meaning in the world today. Without the framework of the Bible, the perceived reality of this world collapses down to irrationality. For instance, there's no explanation for intelligent design of the cosmos, categories, grammar, mathematics, language, names, natural law, physics or gravity.
