10 Deadbeat Men Who Are Deceiving Christian Women

My wife and I raised four daughters—without shotguns in the house! We love our sons-in-law, and it’s obvious God handpicked each of them to match our daughters’ temperaments and personality.

I have always believed God is in the matchmaking business. If He can do it for my daughters, He can do it for you.

Today I have several single female friends who would very much like to find the right guy. Some tell me the pickings are slim at their church, so they have ventured into the world of online dating. Others have thrown up their hands in despair, wondering if there are any decent Christian guys left anywhere. They’ve begun to wonder if they should lower their standards in order to find a mate.

Charisma Offers Exclusive, Eye-Opening Film: ‘Enemies Within: The Church’

The leftward turn in this nation is stunning. It’s been happening for decades, but lately it seems it at warp speed. I’ve reported on this and even written books urging Christians to get involved.

Now it seems it’s invaded the church too. In a way, denominations have been going liberal for 100 years. But “evangelicals” always adhered to God’s Word, or so we thought. Yet in the past few years, particularly as the left has pushed critical race theory and the idea that anything goes sexually, we see this trend creeping into the church. A few have sounded the alarm, but not many.

Thankfully a brave charismatic pastor from Iowa whom I’ve known for several years is not only speaking up, but he’s also created an amazing documentary called Enemies Within: The Church. His name is Cary Gordon, and he is the senior pastor of Cornerstone World Outreach in Sioux City, Iowa.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes Encourages Coaches and Athletes to Be Grateful On and Off the Field

As people across the nation collectively reflect on what they are thankful for this holiday season, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (fca.org) is taking a moment to acknowledge the impact of their mission to reach coaches and athletes with the truth of the gospel through athletics.

“What a perfect time to reflect on the incredible blessings of God and say thank You to Him for the work we get to do to reach coaches and athletes around the globe with His gospel,” said FCA President and CEO Shane Williamson. “We have so much to be thankful for and are overjoyed by what God continues to do through the investment of so many staff and volunteers to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.”

For FCA, the work they do with coaches and athletes has shown a massive impact over the past year alone. For FCA’s fiscal year (September 2020-August 2021), FCA reports nearly 17,000 total faith decisions, with over 18,000 certified Huddles, almost 800 camps with over 57,000 campers and nearly 50 registered Fields of Faith events. Through these various avenues, FCA has also distributed 208,624 Bibles. {eoa}
