The Word of God states, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so” (NKJV) and this isn’t isolated to preaching the gospel behind a pulpit or on a street corner. As believers, we get to preach the gospel and share the testimony of Jesus in our lives through many forms and facets.

Music is one of the most tremendous outlets to tell stories of Christ’s redemption and to glorify who Jesus is so the listener can encounter God’s heart and nature.

On the latest episode of Awaken Podcast, I speak with musician and song writer Jonathan Ogden about his passion behind his music projects. Jonathan’s songs and albums are birthed from intimacy with Jesus and reflect what God is teaching him in that season in his life. He shares how his main desire is to present the beauty of who Jesus is to everyone who listens to his music.

Tune in to find out about the encounters Jonathan has had that inspired many of his most popular songs from his albums. Jesus is better than we all know and God wants us to herald the message of His gospel and great love to everyone around us. Our passion is to make Jesus known in all areas of our life, especially the powerful arena of song.
