Are You Afraid You Have Committed the Unpardonable Sin?

How do you know you have committed the unpardonable sin? And if you did, is there any hope for you?

Ukrainian-born and Spirit-filled preacher Vlad Savchuck, lead pastor of HungryGen Church, says many, especially believers, aren’t even aware of exactly what it is to commit the unpardonable sin—the blaspheming of the Holy Ghost. He says in this video that many simply are ignorant of its meaning and should not live in fear until they understand what it is.

Savchuck cites Matthew 31:32, Mark 3:30 and Luke Chapters 11 and 12 for scriptural evidence to the answer:

“According to these three references, blaspheming against the Holy Spirit is giving credit to the devil for miracles, especially deliverance,” Savchuck says. “That’s a little bit different than what many people are defining it as. It is giving credit to Satan for deliverance or saying it was done by the power of Satan.

“I know quite a few people who are committing this sin now,” he says. “Of course, most Christians will not go that far. They will just simply say, ‘This is fake, this is not real.’ But there are those who will go as far as to say this is done by witchcraft. They are operating with Kundalini spirit. This is demonic. The Pharisees started this, and Jesus debunked it. ‘Demons can’t cast out demons,’ He said.

“If you have felt like you have done this, focus on building your relationship with Holy Spirit,” Savchuck advises. “As believers, we can sin against the Holy Spirit by limiting Him, by grieving Him, by quenching Him and even resisting Him. But I believe that believers cannot willfully and consciously commit the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit because they are sealed by the Spirit when they become children of God. The Spirit of God guides us. So, instead of living in fear, live with hunger to know the Holy Spirit more.”
