Jesse Duplantis made a stunning statement recently during a TV fundraiser for Victory TV. He declared that believers, “can speed up the time” of Christ’s return through their financial donations to the ministry.
According to their website, “Jesse Duplantis Ministries has one mission: to share God’s message of salvation through Jesus Christ with the world. We want everyone to have an opportunity to know the real Jesus. Approachable, personable, compassionate and full of joy: that’s the real Jesus that Jesse knows and loves. And it’s his mission in life to make sure everyone on every continent has an opportunity to know Jesus too.”
Duplantis has been known as a powerful Word of Faith preacher for nearly 50 years. His sermons largely revolve around standing on the Word of God and believing for miraculous results.
The video of the fundraiser is being circulated by Right Wing Watch, an extreme left-wing organization focused on monitoring conservatives and Christians alike.
The video clip seems to go from bad to worse when Duplantis seems to brag about not simply being a millionaire but a multi-millionaire.
Under a webpage on their site, JDM states it is “good soil” and lists that donations received into the ministry are used in the following ways:
- 31% Broadcast Earth Outreach
- 18% Go Ye Outreach
- 16% Missions, Ministries, and the Poor
- 16% Publish the Word Outreach
- 13% JDM Partnership
- 6% Administration
It goes on to say, “We value every seed and consider it a holy, precious thing. Not only is your seed destined to produce harvest for you, it will also enable us to spread the Gospel through anointed television broadcasts, web shows, products, magazines, podcasts, social media, Internet outreaches, and evangelistic meetings held throughout the world.” {eoa}
