Prophet Charlie Shamp and a team of 250-plus volunteers have joined together to bring “Awake America,” a gospel and miracle crusade, to Clermont, Florida, this week at the Waterfront Park in downtown Clermont.
The first night of the crusade was held Thursday, and God is truly stirring a revival. The presence of Jesus was evident throughout the entire night, resulting in hundreds accepting Jesus as their savior, many baptized and many miraculously healed. A few of the incredible testimonies include:
- A man who had been paralyzed in half of his body due to six strokes—the most recent one being a month ago—regained mobility in his entire left side, was completely healed and received Jesus that night!
- A woman who was not aware that the event was occurring casually walked through Waterfront Park as many Clermont locals often do. Her body had been in pain, but as she heard the Word being preached across the field and she felt healing in her body. She approached the event, was completely healed and received Jesus as her savior!
- A lady who had been walking with a cane and had to carry around an oxygen tank was completely healed as the power of God touched her. She released her tank and removed her oxygen mask, able to breathe at full capacity and walk around with no pain. She walked up and down the stairs, which she had not been able to do before!
- We saw many back injuries due to car accidents completely healed and the people that were healed able to move in ways they hadn’t been able to since their accidents.
- A woman from New Jersey on vacation in Florida, also unaware about the event, ended up hearing about Awake America, came to the crusade, got healed from issues in her body and accepted Jesus!
There were many more incredible testimonies of Jesus manifesting through healing in peoples’ lives, and this is just the beginning.
The evening concluded with many giveaways, as thousands of dollars worth of bill and mortgage payments, a car, furniture, TV’s, kayaks, and more were given away to bless the people of the community and those present at the event.
God is moving in our land and many are coming to know Him and experience Him. {eoa}
