Jack Posobiec Says Believers Must Seek, Report Truth Ahead of Impending Cultural Revolution

Following the 2020 election controversy, the audience of San Diego-based One America News Network, led by President Charles Herring, has grown by nearly 40%. Supporters of then-president Donald Trump moved en masse from Fox News to OANN, Newsmax and other media that they felt reflects their views, Herring says.

One OANN correspondent witnessed that exchange and has been along for the ride ever since.

“My faith means everything to me, and I try to live as a Christian in my daily life,” Jack Posobiec said in a recent interview.

Working in the media at a time where extreme censorship is part of life, Posobiec sees his role as a Christian reporter as standing for the “forgotten men and women.”

He proudly stands on the side of truth in a time when “yellow journalism” has become the rule of the day and polarized reporting is presented across the board.

“I am concerned about liberty and freedom going forward,” Posobiec admits. But, “OANN is truly an independent voice that allows us to simply seek and report the truth.”

He says of the current political climate: “We see … a resurgence of Marxism and communism in a new and more dangerous form,” and calls it almost like “another cultural revolution and a new form of communism that is very much like what is in China.”

Posobiec sees great peril and persecution for believers going forward, and as hard as it is to imagine, much like what Christians face in China: “I was at an antifa rally and watched as they assaulted a street preacher,” he says. “What is of great concern is the left’s over-the-top hate of Christians, and we need to recognize that and deal with it.”

He continues, “God gives us the power of faith, the power to live as a Christian, the power to live our professional lives.” But Posobiec added, “Just like Jesus, we will be hated for God’s truth.”

The former Navy lieutenant and Temple University graduate has a message for believers to stand strong, even in the midst of rising persecution. One of his guiding Bible verses comes from Matthew 5:16 (ESV), which says, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

The Pennsylvania native knows that men have a “God-sized hole” in their hearts only the love of Jesus can fulfill. This is ultimately what must be remembered in times of persecution.

He reflects the words of bestselling author of God, Trump and COVID-19, Steve Strang, who says, “Christians operating in the public square must be empowered by wisdom from above.” {eoa}
