You may recognize Mack Brock's name from hits like "Heart Wide Open," "Greater Things" and "Do It Again," but the former Elevation Worship member has gone solo.

As he transitions to new musical pursuits, he talked with "C-Pop," the Christian pop culture podcast, about how to write a song that will usher people into worship.

"I think, you know, as a songwriter, for the church and the writer as we look at worship, we have a couple of goals in mind. First and foremost, we want to write songs that exalt Jesus. Not just exalting who He is, but exalting what He's [done] and declaring the truth about His impact in our lives."

What's the process like? Listen to the podcast to find out!
