The Washington National Cathedral hosted its first Muslim prayer service last Friday.

Organizers were hoping the service would spark an understanding between Christians and Muslims, supporting interfaith movements revolving around faith and compassion.

According to Reuters, one female protester was removed after yelling, “Jesus Christ is on that cross over there,” she yelled. “Get out of our church. Leave our church alone.”

Franklin Graham criticized the gathering on his Facebook page.
