Pop singer Rihanna recently glorified God in a Twitter post marking the ninth anniversary of her debut album, Music of The Sun.

“To God be the Glory #MusicOfTheSun,” she tweeted Saturday after re-posting a message from her Roc Nation music label mentioning the anniversary.

She also thanked her fans: “Thanks to all of you who’ve supported me throughout the years! I cant believe, already 9 yrs! I owe it to you man,” Rihanna wrote.

The singer has previously sparked controversy with her public nudity and scandalous behavior, but she has also been open about her faith.

“… Remembering what’s important in life and understanding that we are individuals with our own relationship to God,” Rihanna told Glamour U.K. “When that’s clear, it’s difficult to be bothered by what people think.”

Her current Twitter header is a rather shocking image of her wearing almost nothing, but earlier this summer it was reportedly a verse from the Bible.

“When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, ‘do you believe that I am able to do this?’ They said to him, ‘Yes, Lord,'” her header from Mark 9:28 read in July.
