If you are tired getting opinions from secular reviews on the latest movies, try turning on Fox News.

Fox News just inked a deal with Movieguide to air its faith-based movie reviews on both Fox News and Fox & Friends starting this Friday Morning.

Fox is giving Movieguide a seven-week trial to see how its viewers take to movie reviews from a Christian perspective using high biblical standards.

“We are pleased to be placing our TV show on the Fox News Channel,” says Dr. Ted Baehr, founder and publisher of Movieguide. “This gives us another great opportunity to help make family life better, by helping parents make positive movie choices for their children and teenagers. We don’t want people to pay a lot of money to get their family into a theater and then have to say, ‘Uh-oh, what have I done?’”

Movieguide evaluates movies according to the worldview and cultural messages the movies present. This evaluation is done through the lens of the Bible, which Christians consider to be the Word of God.

Movieguide's stated mission is “to redeem the values of the entertainment industry by influencing industry executives and by informing and equipping the public about the influence of the entertainment media.”
