'Biblical-Like Plagues' Rock Egypt and Western Australia

In the book of Exodus, God rained down plagues of frogs, flies and locusts on the Egyptians under Pharaoh. While this may not parallel what the Egyptians suffered back then, one can't help but wonder if these two phenomena are biblical signs of what is yet to come.

This past week in Egypt, it was reported that scorpions washed into homes due to heavy rains and stung three people to death and left more than 500 injured. Hail and thunderstorms along the River Nile swept the scorpions, as well as snakes, away from their usual hiding places in the city of Aswan.

Meanwhile, in Western Australia, 50 million cannibal crabs swarmed the June to the coast on Christmas Island, shutting down roads for an undisclosed period of time. The bright-red creatures descended upon townships in Western Australia in what is considered one of the greatest animal migrations on the planet.

Apostle Fred Berry of Azusa Street Mission & Historical Society Dies at 61

Apostle Fred Berry of the Azusa Street Mission & Historical Society died Nov. 16, 2021, at age 61. His wife, Wilma Berry, announced his passing on Facebook, writing below a photo of herself with her husband, "God is Faithful! Hi Family, Thank You for praying with us! My beautiful, funny, loving husband Fred Berry has gone to Heaven today!"

A memorial service celebrating his life and ministry will be held Dec. 4 at Zoe Christian Fellowship in Whittier, California.

Fred, who was reared in a military family, traveled extensively throughout the world, according to the ASMHS website. Saved and filled with the Holy Spirit in 1983, he answered the call to ministry in 1992 and was ordained through the Church of God in Christ Inc. He founded a parachurch organization called Joshua Ministries Inc. In 2004, he and his wife were ordained as an apostle/prophet team with Christian International, founded by Apostle Bill Hamon.

Teacher Decries Teaching LGBTQ Agenda 'Is Sinning Against Our God'

The Loudoun County School Board has agreed to a permanent injunction prohibiting it from retaliating against Leesburg Elementary School teacher Tanner Cross for expressing his constitutionally protected views on the board's transgender policy.

As CBN News has reported, Cross made headlines earlier this year after he was suspended for telling the school board that he wouldn't address children by preferred pronouns because it violates his Christian beliefs.

"I love all of my students, but I will never lie to them, regardless of the consequences," he said in late May. "I'm a teacher, but I serve God first, and I will not affirm that a biological boy can be a girl, and vice versa, because it's against my religion. It's lying to a child. It's abuse to a child. And it's sinning against our God."
