More Than 650 Parents Demand School Board President’s Resignation After Shocking Revelation

More than 650 parents have demanded the resignation of Scottsdale (Ariz.) United School District Board President Jann-Michael Greenburg after the parents discover that Greenburg kept a dossier on 47 parents who dared to speak out against Greenburg’s policies at school board meetings.

A group of mothers within the SUSD community apparently stumbled upon the digital dossier, The Scottsdale Independent reported.

The Scottsdale Independent first reported on the “Greenburg Files,” which saw the president, or possibly his father, keep a secret dossier on selected parents who spoke out against issues like COVID-19 restrictions and critical race theory—complete with Social Security numbers, background checks, divorce papers, mortgage documents, trade certifications and screen shots of Facebook posts.

The dossier was discovered when Greenburg reportedly sent an email attached with the screenshot of an image of the digital dossier on Google drive to Scottsdale resident Kim Stafford. Fox News reports that four people are tied to the account: Greenburg; Greenburg’s father, Mark; SUSD governing board member Zachary Lindsay, and a Scottsdale woman who has yet to be identified.

Amy Carney, a mother of six and candidate for the SUSD governing board, referred to the petition to have Greenburg removed as “retaliation.”

“The list of parents targeted in the drive appears to be anyone who has spoken out about anything against our district publicly or online,” Carney said.

Greenburg “categorically denied” his complicity or involvement in assembling the dossier to The Scottsdale Independent. Lindsay also denied having any knowledge of the drive.

Fox News reported that despite Greenburg’s denial, the active link to the site became private at around 11 a.m. on Nov. 9 after The Independent called the Greenburg family. The dossier includes 18 folders marked CAN-Network, a reference to the Community Advocacy Network, a group of parents formed last year advocating for in-person learning and against mask mandates. Fox News reported that it refers to these parents as “wackos.”

SUSD parents have said that Greenburg’s Facebook profile and his website had suddenly “disappeared.”

Arizona House Rep. Joseph Chaplik, a Scottsdale parent himself, also called for Greenburg’s resignation.

“The evidence of his cyber-stalking and spreading of an enemies’ list should be the last straw for his fellow board members and I expect them to join me in this call,” Chaplik said in a statement. {eoa}

Shiry Shapir, a mother of three and candidate for SUSD superintendent, told Fox News, “I think he knows his time is up. There is going to be some criminal investigation. I hope our attorney general does something about this. He needs to. And we’re the domestic terrorists?”
