Steve and Pam Johnson says their daughter was kidnapped off the front porch.
“Immediately we began to call upon God,” Steve tells Sid Roth.
The family had just moved into a new house and didn’t even have their phone line hooked up yet. They met their neighbors by pleading with them to call 9-1-1.
The dispatcher was a family friend, who began praying as well.
Later, Steve’s mother told the couple she’d had a dream about their daughter’s death.
“We believe that God inspired that or allowed that to happen in order that prayer could be upfront to help circumvent things,” Steve says.
When they found her, she was beaten, abused, submerged under water with concrete blocks attached.
